was founded in Orlando, Florida, by Chris Malta in December of 2000. Chris was formerly a Microsoft-Certified Systems Engineer who has worked for many of the big corporations, designing and building both corporate and ECommerce networks. He's spent many years working in ECommerce and web site design. He is the Founding Partner and CEO of WorldWide Brands, Inc., and Co-Host of The Entrepreneur Magazine E-Biz Radio Show.
Chris Malta, founder and CEO, searched for manufacturers and wholesalers who would supply his Internet stores with products for years. Through his experiences he survived countless scams and frustrating dead ends. Finally, he developed research techniques that generated results. It worked so well for his own stores that he decided to start selling the information in the form of a Directory. Several years later Worldwide Brands is still growing virtually every day, helping "netrepreneurs" find more and more Internet oriented suppliers and products.

 Jim Ritzel, Chief Operations Officer
Jim was formerly an Electro-Optical Engineer who worked for many years as an International Sales and Marketing Manager, traveling the world for the high-tech Aerospace industry. Today he is a Partner in Worldwide Brands, Inc., and our Chief Operations Officer. He manages the Business Operations of our company.
Worldwide Brands, Inc., was created by our original partners, Chris Malta and Jim Ritzel. Chris and Jim have been good friends for more than 20 years, but took separate paths from their native Western New York after college. Chris got into computers, and later became a Systems Engineer in New York, working for companies like Kodak and others. Jim became an Electro-Optical Engineer, a career choice that took him around the world many times while working in the high-tech Aerospace industry.
Jim finally settled in a small town just outside of Orlando, Florida. Many years later, Chris and his family moved from New York to the same town near Orlando, a choice that was largely influenced by the fact that Jim and his family lived there.
Just after Jim first moved to Florida, he became friends with Rob Cowie. Rob was busy making a name for himself in the TV and Movie industry. A few years after Jim and Rob met, Rob became well-known as one of the Producers of the movie, "The Blair Witch Project".
Chris had already been heavily involved in ECommerce by the time he moved to Florida. At that time, he was developing The Drop Ship Source Directory. Chris knew that the Directory was an excellent product. But, he also knew that he could not singlehandedly do all the day-to-day Research and Maintenance required to make it the absolute best of it's kind. So, Chris and Jim became partners, and formed Worldwide Brands, Inc.
The two Partners began recruiting a highly talented staff. They were later very happy to join forces with Worldwide's third Partner, Rob Cowie.

Rob is a highly talented Marketing Specialist, and a well known Television & Movie Producer.
